Welcoming Ramadhan

Bismillahir rahmanirrahim...
Assalamualaykum/Salam

Hey everyone, on August 11 2010, we will entering the month of Ramadhan, the month when every Muslim around the world fasting. It is the big event for us, Muslim as it is our month. He [the Holy Prophet] said Rajab is Allah's month, Sha'ban is my month, and Ramadan is the month of the Ummah.
It s the month all people forgive each other and restraint ourselves from bad things.I am sure one of the obstacles for Muslims today is that they are not finding it in their hearts to forgive one another.
Ramadan is the month of mercy and forgiveness. If you are unable to give, give it in Ramadan, if you are unable to share, share it in Ramadan, if you are unable to go out of your way to do the things that you were not able to do before, do it in Ramadan. I just ponder this word and reflect my self: How do you expect Allah to forgive you when you do not forgive your spouse, your relatives, or your kids?

Ramadhan mubarak everyone!!!May Allah bless all of us,amen.I wanna apologize if there s any mistake I did.

DUA'S BEFORE / DURING STUDY

Allahumma infa'nii bimaa 'allamtanii wa'allimnii maa yanfa' unii
O Allah! Make useful for me what You taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.

اللهم اني اسالك العفو والعافية

Allahumma inni as'alukal 'afuwawal-afiya
O Allah! I seek your forgiveness and well being (meaning in examination, memory, and concentration etc)

DU'AS FOR ANXIETY/DIFFICULTY

اللَّهُمَّ
إنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَ الْحَزَنِ ، وَ الْعَجْزِ وَ

الرِّجَالِ

Allahumma inni a'udhubika minal hammi wal
hazan, wal 'ajzi wal kasal, wal bukhli wal jubn, wa dhala'id-dayni wa
ghalabatir rijaal
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from grief and

cowardice, from being overcome by debt and from being overpowered by
men (other people)

Revision tips:

1. Always pray at the correct time to give yourself a full mental and spiritual recharge.

2. Arise bright and early to pray fajr and then revise, for it is the most blessed time of the day.

3. Develop a timetable to monitor your progress, make sure you allocate adequate time for fun and relaxation as well.

4. While revising, vary subjects and their difficulty so you don't get bored or disheartened.

5.
To prevent mental fatigue, take a short break as soon as you notice
your mind is losing concentration, it is important to relax.

6. Maintain a regular sleep pattern, pray and go to sleep early.

7.
Eat healthily; nutrients will help your brain stay sharp. Don't drink
too much coffee, tea or fizzy drinks. Caffeine will keep you up and
reduce the clarity of your thinking.

8. Stay away from distractions that could cause loss of concentration or unwanted anxiety.

9.
Increase in your reading and listening of the Qur'an and performing
more ibadah (worship). Keep away from bad actions and deeds - Follow up
a bad deed with a good deed, to cancel it out.

Exam time:

1. Pray 2 rakat nafl prior to exam

2. Say In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind - before commencing the exam - indeed before anything that you do.

3.
Recite some du'as (like the ones listed above), and keep in constant
dhikrullah (i.e. the daily dhikrs when waking, dressing, eating,
sleeping, etc)

4. Come home and pray 2 rakat nafl after the exam
for shukr (offer thanks to Allah) for granting you the strength and
persistence and ability to complete the exam and accomplish goals
inshAllah
